Robert Monk
FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
Robert founded Monk Estates Ltd in 1991, a market leading Investor Developer in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and BTR. Robert co-founded Primary Asset Management Ltd, a niche company focused on the development and ownership of primary healthcare centres across the UK, which was sold in 2006 with a project portfolio valued at £80 million.
Sam Monk
FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Sam has significant expertise in the construction of affordable housing, Student Accommodation and BTR. Since 2009, he has led Monk Estates Ltd in the promotion and management of both residential and commercial developments, significantly growing the company’s property portfolio. Sam plays an instrumental role in site acquisitions, planning, tendering of building contracts and leading the construction process.
Charles M Flynn
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
Charles has over 15 years experience in delivering large-scale residential-led “Placemaking” regeneration projects, including award-winning urban villages, new towns and city centre regeneration projects. Charles co-founded a leading strategic land development company in 2008 and led the funding and creation of residential-lead communities valued at over £1.5 billion GDV, delivering strategic masterplan developments for more than 3,960 new homes and over £100 million in infrastructure delivery. Mr Flynn operates in that integral space between global capital markets and project development to execute the Hylyfe vision.
Shana Panesar
HEAD OF OPERATIONS & ESTATE MANAGER
Shana has over 7 years' experience in the property lettings and management sector. She specialises in building management and compliance. Shana is pivotal in ensuring the day-to-day operational side of Hylyfe. This includes producing reports on the performance of each asset, as well as overseeing the building managers and ensuring maintenance and customer satisfaction is maintained.
